The Bachchan family has always celebrated Diwali with great pomp. But this year, there will be no Diwali party in this house. Actor Abhishek Bachchan has told in a recent interview that a Diwali party has been canceled this year in view of the corona virus epidemic and a death in their family. For many years, the Bachchan family has been hosting a Diwali party and it is counted in the popular events of the film industry. Over the years, Aishwarya Rai, daughter-in-law of the Bachchan family, is also a part of it. Also Shweta Bachchan Nanda has always come from Delhi to join the party.
Abhishek Bachchan told in an interview that the decision not to host the party was taken after the death of his sister Shweta Nanda’s mother-in-law Ritu Nanda, who died in January this year. In addition, this decision was confirmed in view of the danger of corona virus.
Abhishek said, ‘This is true. My sister Shweta’s mother-in-law (Ritu Nanda) passed away. Also, who hosts parties in times like these? Civilization is going through the worst crisis ever. We all need to be as careful as possible. Adhering to social distance is the only option and that too is not a guarantee against the virus. Diwali parties and other social occasions are distant dreams at the moment. ‘
Abhishek Bachchan himself has also been infected with the Corona virus and has beaten it. Actor say there is no guarantee of immunity. Because someone has gone through it. It is all so uncertain. All we need to do is to push with the hope of doing good.
In July this year, four members of the Bachchan family were found infected in a corona virus test. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek and his daughter Aaradhya were admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. Aishwarya and her daughter were the first to recover. Then Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan were discharged from the hospital.
