Reliance Jio has launched its new tariff plan named as ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’. Starting at Rs 309, the plan offers 1GB data per day for 84 days.
This means users will get 1 GB data with unlimited national calling for 84 days (28×3). There’s another plan of Rs 509 offering 2GB data to users with the same validity.
Both these plans are exclusive for Jio Prime members but not for the members who are eligible for the company’s ‘Summer Surprise Offer’. For non-prime members, 1GB data per day plan is priced at Rs 408. For 2GB per day, users will have to pay Rs 608 and validity of both the plans is 84 days.
The all new ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer replaces company’s ‘Summer Surprise’ offer which was withdrawn last week after TRAI asked the company to do so as it did not fit into “regulatory framework”.
The ‘Summer Surprise’ offer gave three months complimentary benefits to all Jio Prime members who recharged with Rs 303 or more till April 15.
Responding to the TRAI’s order Reliance Jio has said “it is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the new offer as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days.”
