Reliance Jio To Put A Limit On Both Incoming And Outgoing Calls…?
Reliance Jio a huge revolution initiated by Mukesh Ambani ( who is the chairman, managing director and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited ), started Jio commercial operations in India from September 16. The telecom operator is offering free Jio welcome offer in the country till 31st December 2016. Under the free welcome offer, Reliance Jio claims to offer Unlimited free calls and 4GB of high-speed 4G LTE data on daily basis.
There is no doubt in saying that the company voice calls service is getting improved in recent times but Reliance Jio has quietly without announcing has put a limit on its voice call service. Reliance Jio is limiting all calls from its network to just 30 minutes. The company is not only limiting outgoing calls but also limiting incoming calls as well on its VoLTE network. Reliance Jio is limiting both incoming and outgoing calls to 30 minutes. Hence, it is not confirmed or we are not sure as to why the Telecom operator has put the call time limit on its network.
Maybe to reduce the congestion on its network,Reliance Jio this step has been taken. According to Market blog, Reliance Jio calls cannot be continued for more than thirty minutes with any other network for example : From Reliance Jio to Idea. There is already a limit of 4GB 4G data per day on its network. But the thing is that we cannot understand is that why Reliance Jio is having the limit on incoming call as well?
Reliance Jio has not mentioned nor released a statement about the call time limit neither on its website nor on its app. It should be made known to Reliance Jio users about this restrictions. Reliance Jio should have at least removed the call time limit of 30 minutes on incoming. As of now the service is free so we can manage the limit, but in January 2017 the service will become paid, so Jio should clear whether there will be call time limits on Paid plans as well.
