The film Murder 2 is one of the most-watched films of Bollywood in the category of a murder mystery. It is not the hero of the film that makes a film worth watching but the villain who made the protagonist worth heroic. Prashant Narayanan played the role of villain in the film and got an appreciation for his acting.
He was last seen in PM Narendra Modi’s biopic in a villainous role. He is known for playing the role of a transgender in Murder 2 who kills the call girls. Now Prashant is in the news as he is arrested by the police for his alleged involvement in a cheating case that involves Rs. 1.20 crores.
Not only Prashant is arrested by the police but his wife Shona has also been arrested. They are both in judicial custody. A senior police official A. Prathap stated that:
“The case pertains to cheating. The complainant is Thomas Panicker, who was the producer of a Malayalam film, in which Narayanan acted in 2017. After the film the two became close and Panicker was told that his wife’s father had a company in Mumbai and if he invested in it, he would be made a Director. Panicker invested Rs 1.20 crore and after that, he came to know he was cheated. He then filed the complaint.”
Prashant Narayanan was arrested by the Kerela police from Mumbai. After surveillance of three days, the police nabbed the actor as well as his wife. Both of them have been brought to Kerela thereafter on a transit warrant. Prashant Narayanan has worked in over 50 movies.
