RIO 2016: Despite Getting Her Costume Ripped, 13-year-old Nepal girl Gaurika Singh Managed To Win The Women’s 100m backstroke Heat

Being the youngest competitor at the competition, what if I tell you that the suit got ripped while competing and still she won the battle? Yes , it happened at the Rio Olympics as Gaurika Singh, the inspiration lad from Nepal survived to win her heat in the women’s 100m backstroke event. Meanwhile, Gaurika Singh is the Youngest Olympian among the 10,000 athletes that have participated at the Rio Olympic Games 2016.

According to the reports, the young champion ripped her swimsuit minutes before her race on Sunday but still managed to beat her two opponents. Her regular coach Rhys Gormley had to guide Gaurika as how to face the obstacle on the phone call as her coach was not available at the time of competition.
