Rishi Kapoor’s sister and Amitabh Bachchan’s mother in law Ritu Nanda is died of cancer.
Ritu was 71 years old and her body will be cremated in Delhi. According to the news reporting agency IANS, Ms Nanda was fighting cancer for the last seven years. Ritu was sister of Rishi Kapoor and elder daughter of Raj Kapoor. But Ritu never gone into the film industry like her family. Instead of that she set her our successful business as Ritu Nanda Insurance Services.
On her sudden death, Amitabh bachchan wrote on his blog: “My ‘samdhan‘ Riitu Nanda, Shweta’s Mother in Law passed away suddenly at 1.15 am .. cannot communicate… travelling.”
Neetu kapoor also shared some emotional lines on her instagram handle on Tuesday morning. She wrote: “My dearest, may your soul rest in peace. Where ” Neetu and Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote: “To the kindest most gentle person I’ve ever met – They don’t make them like you anymore – RIP bua.”
