Robert Downey Jr. shared stunning images from an expedition with the “Oppenheimer” ensemble. While out and about in New York City on Sunday, Downey shared two photos on Instagram of herself and her co-stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, and Matt Damon. The NYC skyline may be seen in the backdrop of both images.
John Krasinski can be seen in one of the photos photobombing the four celebrities as they all smile for the camera. The caption read, “Linking up with my Oppenheimer cast mates…wait, is that a Krasinski photo bomb or might there be a surprise cameo???”.
A box of NYC thin crust pizza is on the table in the first picture in which Krasinski can be seen photobombing. Probably some of the pizza was eaten by the celebrities as well.
On July 21, 2023, the movie “Oppenheimer” will be premiered in the US, much to the delight of fans. The Pulitzer Prize-winning biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer served as the inspiration for the film.
In the film, Murphy portrays Oppenheimer. American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer is regarded as the “father of the atomic bomb” for his significant contribution to the Manhattan Project, which ultimately resulted in the creation of the first nuclear weapons.
According to “Oppenheimer” director Christopher Nolan, no computer-generated imagery was employed. In order to recreate the historic “Trinity” test, which was the first-ever test detonation of the nuclear weapon in the desert of New Mexico in 1945, he has claimed that his crew did not use any computer-generated imagery.
