MGM has released the first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s latest crime movie Wrath of Man . The film is the fourth time that Ritchie has collaborated with lead actor Jason Statham . In the trailer we see how Statham takes out criminals very hard (and with little effort).
In the film, Statham plays a mysterious security guard who surprises his colleagues when he takes out the perpetrators with scary precision during a robbery on their car. They begin to wonder where the sniper came from, and when that is slowly but surely revealed, it leads to an unexpected plot twist. The film is based on the 2004 French film Le Convoyeur .
More Ritchie to come
In addition to Statham, the film also stars Josh Hartnett , Scott Eastwood , Holt McCallany , Jeffrey Donovan, Laz Alonso, Raul Castillo, Niamh Algar and Post Malone.
Meanwhile, Ritchie happily continues to work on the spy film Five Eyes , which also features roles for Statham and Hartnett.
Wrath of Man should hit theaters in May.
