RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, a magnum opus film made history by taking home the Oscar for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. Chandrabose, the lyricist for Naatu Naatu, MM Keeravani, Rajamouli, his family, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and their respective wives all attended the Oscars’ main ceremony. Yet, if rumours are to be believed, everyone else on Team RRR had to pay a hefty fee to attend the Oscars, with the exception of composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose.
Just Chandrabose and MM Keeravani and their spouses received free admission to the Oscars, claims a report from Economics Times. Rajamouli had to buy tickets for his team mates, nevertheless. According to the report, Rajamouli had to pay $25 each person (around 20 lakhs) to attend the event. Just the recipient and their family members will be eligible for a free pass, according to the Academy Awards staff, and everyone else will need to purchase a ticket in order to attend the live broadcast.
SS Rajamouli is alleged to have bought tickets to watch the historic event for both himself and the other team members. Earlier, once the team’s video appeared online, a number of internet users voiced their displeasure. The Academy came under fire for seating SS Rajamouli and his group in the last row.
The story of two liberation fighters is followed in the SS Rajamouli-directed film RRR, which stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris all have significant roles in the movie.
