Announcement of Budget 2021
On 1st February the finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget. There are reports that the budget sessions will be in two parts the first session will be from 29th to 1st February, while the second session will be held from 8th March to 8th April. The meeting of the two houses will be held in the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha in the evening. There will be discussions about implementing the new health measures that were adopted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lpg cylinder prices and services:
As we all know that depending on the crude rates in the international markets the oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG on the first day of every month. But apart from this let us tell you that from 1st February the Tatkal LPG Seva will roll out. According to this, the consumers will get the delivery of the gas cylinder on the same day of booking. So now you don’t have to wait to get your gas cylinder after you book it. The consumers within a span of 30/45 minutes from the time of booking, will get the cylinder under Tatkal booking.
Cash withdrawal from Punjab National Bank ATM
From February 1, 2021, the customers of Punjab National Bank (PNB) have to follow the new ATM rules. Let us tell you that to stop the increasing ATM fraud across the country PNB has taken a major step. From February 1, 2021, PNB customers will not be able to withdraw money from non-EMV ATM machines. For those unaware non-EMV ATMs are those in which the card is not used during the transaction. The bank also shared this information on its Twitter handle.
Mandatory FASTag
Many of you might be knowing that FASTag enables you to zip through toll plazas without pausing. As per the rule, it is mandatory to use FASTag for all vehicles in the country. And the rules were imposed from 15 January 2020. But those who still don’t have the FASTag need not worry, because, in the hybrid lane of the fee plaza on national highways, the fee payment can be made through FASTag as well as in cash mode till February 15, 2021. The one-time activation cost rupees 100 but depending on the vehicle it can range from Rs 200 to Rs 400. Along with security deposits. After this, each time you pass from the toll an electronic reader will read your tag and the toll tax will be automatically deducted from your account.
EPFO Jeevan Pramaan
Keeping in view the situation created by the coronavirus pandemic the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has extended the deadline for the submission of life certificates to February 28, 2021.
