Yet stories abound that studio Lionsgate is actively persuading Lawrence to return for follow-up adventures in the world of Panem.

Of course the climax of Mockingjay dropped a small opening for this and last year actor Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) already indicated that he is more films around and Lawrence expects their characters.
It’s unclear whether or not author Suzanne Collins is involved in this project, but it’s understandable that Lionsgate is betting on the heroine who made the franchise great.
Perhaps the timeline of The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes (in which Katniss is not yet born) announces a future storyline for this or that Lawrence has a cameo in the end, who knows?
