The Russian foreign ministry spokesperson stated on Saturday that “more than 20” German diplomats had been expelled in retaliation for the “mass expulsion” of Russian embassy personnel from Berlin.
Maria Zakharova in converstion with state-run channel Zvezda stated that Moscow had ascertained to expel “more than 20” diplomats post denouncement “another mass expulsion of employees of Russian diplomatic missions in Germany.”
“The German authorities took a decision on another mass expulsion of employees of Russian diplomatic missions in Germany. We strongly condemn these actions of Berlin, which continues to defiantly destroy the entire array of Russian-German elections”.
