According to a new textbook written for Russian pupils, Democratic voter fraud was the primary reason why former US President Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential contest. Social media users shared images of material found in Russian books that claimed Donald Trump lost the election “due to blatant electoral fraud by the Democratic Party.” This is happening while Donald Trump and a few of his allies are being prosecuted for their roles in the US Capitol riots that followed the outcome of the 2020 election.

What prepositions were made in the Russian textbooks?

University of Chicago professor Konstantin Sonin posted the erroneous information from the Russian textbook regarding the 2020 election on X, formerly Twitter, claiming, “The new World History textbook for high schools in Russia quietly informs kids that Donald Trump was denied presidency in 2020 as a result of “obvious falsifications” by the Democratic Party.”
On US president Joe Biden

The Times’ foreign journalist Marc Bennetts shared another passage from the textbook on X, along with a picture of Joe Biden hiding behind a mask while the passage made unverified statements about the president.
“On (masked) Biden from the same Russian school textbook ‘His entire political career has been accompanied by corruption scandals. He and his family have commercial interests in Ukraine,'” Marc Bennetts tweeted on X.
