On Sunday, the makers of Salaar unfurled the first poster featuring actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, as a special gift for the latter on his 40th birthday. The Prashanth Neel directorial who has also delivered the blockbuster hit movie, KGF has posted the first grand poster announcing the mega budgeted action thriller to be up next year.
The actor will be seen portraying Vardharaja Mannaar. The poster featuring Prithviraj has gained much attention from the mass. The actor is seen withstanding the coal and dust and appearing with a tilak on coined on his forehead, greasy and scar filled face. His look has been supplemented on point with a ear studs, ring and a choker to complete the sporting attire.
Director Prashanth Neel posted the update on his official Twitter handle stating, “Birthday Wishes to the most versatile @PrithviOfficial , Presenting Vardharaja Mannaar from Salaar.”
While the film’s production house, Hombale Films too shared this news and wrote, “Parallel or mainstream, Arthouse or commercial, he has always made sure to strike a balance n delivered stupendously with an entertaining n engaging act. To the most versatile @PrithviOfficial a very Happy Birthday.”
In response to the messages and appreciation, Prithviraj tweeted, “Thank you #HombaleFilms #PrashanthNeel #Prabhas and the entire team of #Salaar! (with a smile-faced emoticon) #VardharajaMannaar will see you in theatres on the 28th of September 2023!”
Alongside the actor, Shruti Haasan will be seen in the female lead. On the other hand, Jagapathi Babu, a well-acclaimed figure in the industry will be seen as the antagonist against the actor. The composition is helmed by Ravi Basur and Bhuvan Gowda has been reserved for the cinematography. The duo will be seen working together after KGF.
