This December two big films, Salaar and Dunki, will lock horns to compete at the box office. Salaar, featuring Prabhas an action-packed Part 1 ceasefire, will hit the theaters on December 22 which is just the day after Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki set to release on December 21. The competition is tough as these films will go head-to-head for audience attention. According to trade reports in The Times of India, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has witnessed a surge in popularity. Selling around 5400 tickets across 320 locations and 915 shows. The film, which had only 30 tickets sold six days ago, is now making waves with a current box office collection of $75,039.However, the real battle comes out in the overseas market, where Prashanth Neel’s directorial Salaar is taking the lead.
