Salman Khan: ‘Pleads Not Guilty’ In The Blackbuck Poaching Case

Salman Khan has left the Jodhpur court after recording his statement in the poaching case(killing of blackbuck deer 19 years ago). He has faced four cases related to the killings of two chinkaras and two blackbucks, the incident happened during the filming of the 1998 movie “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.

He declared himself “Innocent“, and said that he never went into the forest and in fact returned to his room after the shoot finished. Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were also in the courtroom for recording their statements.These are all accused of inciting him.

They have also denied any role in deer killing. Last week Salman Khan also acquitted in the Arms case act, the court had given him benefit of doubt based on lack of evidence. He was accused of keeping an unlicensed weapon.

65 questions were reportedly asked by the prosecution and most of them were based on the statements recorded by 28 witnesses included members of Bishnoi tribe who reportedly chased actors after hearing gun shots.
