Salman Khan responded to Jawan Prevue by Shah Rukh Khan. In Siddharth Anand’s spy thriller Pathaan this year, they were last seen fighting side by side. Salman acknowledges his friend and longtime co-star even though he doesn’t appear in Jawan.
Salman posted the Jawan Prevue on Instagram on Tuesday. He noted in the caption, “Pathan jawan ban gaya, outstanding trailer, absolutely loved it. Now this is the kind of a movie we should see in theatres only. I toh for sure seeing it 1st day ko hi. Mazaa ahh gaya wahhhhh..”
Since they first met in the early 1990s, Salman and Shah Rukh have shared a complicated connection. Their most well-known collaboration was as the title brothers in Karan Arjun, a 1995 reincarnation movie directed by Rakesh Roshan.
They have frequently appeared in each other’s films since then, but their most recent project was Pathaan, when Salman returned as Tiger from his own espionage thriller series to assist Pathaan (Shah Rukh) in a large-scale train scenario.
The YRF Spy Universe excludes Jawan. Shah Rukh will play both a father and a son in the Atlee-directed action movie. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Riddhi Dogra are among the other actors who appear in the movie. Sanjay Dutt and Thalapathy Vijay will also make significant cameo appearances. Jawan, a movie made by Red Chillies Entertainment, a company owned by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, will open in theatres on September 7.
On Tuesday, Shah Rukh responded on Twitter to news that his cast and crew were viewing the Jawan Prevue together.
