Salman Khan didn’t want to shoot for Bigg Boss 18 amid death threats. Because the actor has been constantly receiving death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. However, he shot for Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar with heightened security.
Salman Khan has been through a bumpy phase of his life recently. With Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang threatening his life aggressively for the past few months and now it has become even tougher for him. Because his dear friend politician Baba Siddique was recently killed by the same gang. This situation makes it a very stressful period for him.
Despite all this, Salman had to shoot for Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar. The shooting took place with tight security measures around him, as his safety is a huge concern at this moment. A recent promo clip featured Salman being more candid about how he woke up and frankly did not feel like coming on set. But he said that the work needed to be done.
Salman was seen talking to Shilpa Shirodkar in the video who was angered at another contestant Avinash Mishra for his rude behavior. Shilpa became so angry that she even stopped eating. When he was talking to her. He told her that depriving herself of food would not help her calm her anger. He said, “I hate tears, Shilpa.” If your daughter decides to be angry and decides to starve herself what would you tell her? Shilpa said that she was angry not for the food that he provided her but for his attitude. On this Salman consoled her and urged her not to pour her frustrations on herself by starving herself in the manner she had done. Then, he related this to his situation, saying he did not even want to come out for the shoot that day. But he had to come because of the work. In the same episode, Salman also spoke to another contestant, Arfeen Khan, and questioned his actions, showing his no-nonsense approach to dealing with issues on the show.
Take a look at the clip below:
Taking this into consideration, security on the set of Bigg Boss has been very tight. More than 60 security guards have been stationed around the place before Friday’s shoot. Indeed, anyone without an Aadhar card was barred from getting close to the set as a way of ensuring the card was the only identification required. Crew members were also informed not to move around until the shooting was over.
Apart from that, just last Thursday, there was another threat. This time to Salman who demanded Rs 5 crore to resolve the issue with the Bishnoi gang. The message had a warning that if Salman did not pay them the money, his condition would be much worse than Baba Siddique’s. Fortunately, it was an April fool’s joke that was played on everyone. However, Salman has been in real danger before. There was a shooting incident outside his house just a few months ago. The most noteworthy thing is that despite the danger, Salman continues to do his job, but it’s clear the situation is taking a toll on him.
