The scale of the digital platform these days is becoming rich. Big Bollywood stars are also showing interest in doing web series and shows. A few months ago, it was speculated that Akshay Kumar will make a debut on digital space. Now, the buzz is superstar Salman Khan will also make a debut on the digital platform soon.
His web show will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who directed Salman Khan’s films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and upcoming film Bharat. This web show will be titled as Taandav. It will be based on JNU’s student union leader controversial Kanhaiya Kumar’s life.
Ali is convincing Salman Khan to play this role and according to some media reports, Salman Khan agreed to do the role. He will learn Bihari Hindi accent and will lose some weight to fit in the role. Taandav will show Kanhaiya’s journey from a student union leader to Lok Sabha candidate.
The story of the show will start from the year 2016 when Kanhaiya was held for raising anti-national slogans. He was arrested by Delhi police. Currently, Kanhaiya is contesting elections from Begusarai on CPI’s (Communist Party of India) ticket against BJP leader Giriraj Singh and RJD’s candidate Tanveer Hasan.
