Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set for the release of her new Telegu film Yashoda. The film arrived with a lot o excitement and thrill instilled within the viewers who have watched the trailer post launch. To the surprise of the makers, the film has already crossed Rs 55 crore mark before the release. the Hari and Harish directorial is slated to hit the theaters on November 11.
This has resulted to be one of the highest grossing pre-release earnings for a film starring Samantha. The actress is portrayed as a surrogate mother who goes to every extent to save her child.
Earlier in the day, the actress shared a picture of herself crossing fingers. The post on Instagram was captioned as: “Extremely nervous and especially excited! One day to go. Mee andhariki Yashoda nachchalani gattiga korukuntunna. Good vibes to my directors, producer, cast, and entire crew as they wait like me for your verdict tomorrow. All fingers and toes crossed…”
The film also stars Unni Mukandan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma.
Meanwhile, Samantha recently opened up about her auto-immune disease called myositis. A couple of weeks back, she shared her struggle with the illness.
Samantha flashed up in the headlines after disclosing her ailment of an auto-immune disease called myositis. Speaking to TV anchor Suma, she said, “It was a difficult time for me when I did the dubbing for Yashoda. Given that the release date was announced already, I had to dub in a very difficult health condition. But, I’m a bit adamant. Once I committed to dub for myself, I wanted to do it. I’m glad I did it.”
She added, ” I’m here to fight. I’m not the only one, I know that. There are a lot of people who are fighting many battles. We win in the end.”
