Sanjay Dutt has shared a video on the 91st birth anniversary of his mother Nargis Dutt in her memory on Instagram. In this video, many important stages of Nargis’s life are shown.
Her life as an actress, sometimes a wife, and sometimes a mother has been beautifully portrayed. Posting this video, Sanjay wrote Happy Birthday Mother, Miss You.
Nargis had worked in films like Andaz, Babul, Barsaat, Awara, Shree 420, Chori-Chori, Mother India, Kala Bazaar and Yaadein.
Nargis was the first Indian cinema actress to be awarded the Padma Shri. She was nominated as a member of Rajya Sabha for her social service.
At the same time, she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her film Mother India. While she received the National Award for Best Actress for the film Night and Day. She died on May 3, 1981, of pancreas cancer.
