According to the sources, it is being told that the shoot of Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Shamshera. That was about to start soon has now been postponed, after Sanjay Dutt’s health deteriorated.
The plans for the last schedule of Shamshera’s shoot was still underway. And therefore regarding this in the last week of July Ranbir Kapoor at Yash Raj films studio met director Karan Malhotra to discuss the shooting plans of the film. The shooting for the same was about to start after a few days. But unfortunately, the plans got postponed due to Sanjay Dutt’s sudden ill health. And now there is again a halt in the shooting of the film. Let us tell you that a few days back actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to hospital. When he complained about the breathing problem on Saturday. However, after two days, he got discharged from the hospital after he was cured by the doctors.
Now as per the latest news, the shoot of the film has been postponed, as the doctors have suggested him to take rest. A source revealed that only 3 days of work is left to complete the shoot. But since he was discharged yesterday, the doctors have advised him to avoid strenuous tasks, and hence suggested him to take rest for a couple of days.
About the plot of the film
It is an upcoming action-adventure film that will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor, in lead roles. Set in the 19th-century Shamshera is the story of a leader of a dacoit tribe that revolts against the British and fight for the rights. The film marks Kapoor’s first double role, as the lead character Shamshera and his father. Vani Kapoor will be playing the role of the dancer while Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of an antagonist. Interestingly, Shamshera will be Sanjay’s first-ever film with Yash Raj Films.
