Sara Ali Khan and her Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh have reconnected. It’s for a song in Ranveer’s upcoming romance comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar.
Rocky’s introduction song in the movie contains a few surprises, one of which is Sara. Sara makes a brief appearance in the club song Heartthrob, shaking a leg alongside her Simmba co-star. She matches Ranveer’s glimmering black jacket with a black outfit.
Just one day after the movie opened in theatres on Friday, Sara released images of her unexpected musical cameo on her Instagram account on Saturday. Sara wrote, “Mera Simmba, Sabka Rocky. Dahadte raho”
Dharma Productions, owned by Karan Johar, co-produced Simmba. By reconnecting with her Simmba co-star for yet another upbeat dance routine, Sara has now made a cameo appearance in Karan’s newest film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. It’s interesting to note that Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara’s younger brother, worked as the show’s assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Even though other stars join Ranveer for a dance in the movie’s intro song, they haven’t yet shared photos of themselves with him online. Aur Rani Kii, Rocky Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi are among the other actors who appear in Prem Kahaani. On its first day, it brought in 11 crore at the box office.
