Actions speak louder than words. Regardless of your thoughts on climate change, the world’s ice is measurably melting and at a rapid pace. According to the reports from the National Geographic, global warming will eventually melt all the ice at the poles and on mountaintops, raising sea level by 216 feet. The following maps show how the world would look like if all the ice melted:
Many of the effects of climate change are unrepairable. Sea levels have been rising at a massive rate year after year and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates they could rise by another meter or more by the end of this century.
Sea levels would rise by 216 feet (as per showed by National Geographics in 2013) if all the land ice on the planet were to melt which leads to dramatically reshape the continents and drown many of the world’s major cities.
