Tanushree Dutta, the former Bollywood actress who ignited #MeToo movement in India is definitely the saddest lady on the Earth today! The actress lost her case against Nana Patekar whom she accused of sexual misconduct in 2008. Nana Patekar got a clean shit in the case.
According to the reports, the police have now closed the case on the grounds of ‘no prima facie case against the actor.’ Police also stated that due to the non-availability of the proofs against Nana Patekar they are unable to continue the investigation.
Mumbai Police released a ‘B’ summary report against Nana Patekar, giving him a clean chit. To let you know, a ‘B’ summary report is filed by the police when there isn’t sufficient evidence against the accused. But Tanushree Dutta’s lawyer Nitin Satpute told the media that he didn’t get any official communication from the police. “We will challenge the closure report”, he said.
In 2018, Tanushree Dutta made headlines when she openly accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct at the working place. She was shooting for a special dance in her film Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008 when chaos occurred. After Tanushree’s bold move, #MeToo movement gained momentum in India and many other actresses come forward to share their sexual harassment stories which shocked the nation.
