The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has expressed strong condemnation to the filming of a scene in which Sunny Deol alias Dara Singh for Gadar 2 is seen on the premises of a Gurudwara.
Gurcharan Singh Grewal, General secretary of the apex gurdwara body stated that in one of the still from the film, the character can be seen in within the gurdwara premises.“Flower petals are being showered (on the actors). Moreover, Gatka (a Sikh martial art) Singhs could be seen performing around them,” tweeted Grewal.

He further stated that the director must understand that Gurudwara is not a place for filming.
“We want to say that such pictures (a video clip) which are appearing is shameful for the Sikh community,” the SGPC general secretary averred.
In a video which floated online, the actor and actress Ameesha Patel is seen staring at each other within the holy premise amidst Gatka professionals performing thereon.
