Shah Rukh Khan Detained At Los Angeles Airport, Shows Frustration

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan was again detained at Los Angeles Airport today by the U.S immigration department. This is not the first time when Shah Rukh Khan was detained. Earlier in 2012, SRK was detained at New York Airport for two hours by immigration officials. Shah Rukh after the incident posted  a tweet on his Twitter account expressing his frustration.

After Shah Rukh Khan tweets, The Assistant Secretary of state for south and Central Asia in the US department of State , Nisha Biswal apologized  to Shah Rukh khan. But he responded immediately.

And US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma also apologized following the controversy :

Responding to the controversy Shah Rukh Khan said  ” I told them I was  a movie star and had recently visited the country for the shooting of my film. Nothing seemed to  convince the immigration officer. There were other immigration officers who even vouched for me but this particular officer did not listen to anyone.I even told them I had an invitation from the South Asian community and was there to attend an event ”  in a conversation with TOI and PTI.
