On Monday, Prince Royce released “Deja Vu,” his new single featuring Shakira. When we heard the duo was collaborating on a track for the Dominican singer’s new album, Five, we expected it to be a pop but that’s farthest from what happened. New Shakira music is always something that must be displayed, even when it’s a song in Spanish.
The conventional bachata song features the tropical sound that is so lovable and deep lyrics about a passionate relationship: “Tú me abriste las heridas / Que ya daba por curadas / Con limón, tequila y sal / Una historia repetida / Solamente un déjà vu / Que nunca llega a su final.”
Prince Royce, is an American singer and songwriter from The Bronx. In March 2010, he released his debut single album, which generated two commercially successful singles “Stand by Me” and “Corazon Sin Cara”. Both songs reached number-one on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart.
