Actress Shilpa Shetty’s sister actress Shamita Shetty and mother Sunanda are in legal trouble. They are dragged to the court by her late father’s lender over a Rs 21 lakh loan. A proprietor of an automobile agency named Parhad Amra, filed a lawsuit against the mother-daughter duo for allegedly failing to pay the loan of Rs 21 lakh.

He claimed that Shilpa Shetty’s late father Surendra Shetty had borrowed Rs 21 lakh from him as financial aid for his business. He continued to say that late Surendra Shetty was supposed to repay the given amount with interest in January 2017 but he failed to do so.
Well, Shilpa and her family have denied all the claims against them. Shilpa also stated that she will got to the court for the hearing which is scheduled to happen on January 29 at the Magistrate Court. Parhad told a leading website that, Surendra was not any other person he knew in his life but they shared a good relation, on the friendship terms. This was the reason he gave Rs 21 lakh to Surendra for his business purpose.
According to reports, “Amra paid the first instalment of Rs 8 lakh on August 20, 2015, from his automobile agency account, then a second one of Rs 5 lakh on September 5, 2015 from his personal account, and the third one of Rs 8 lakh on October 7, 2015 from his automobile agency’s account. All payments were made through cheques drawn in the favour of Surendra’s firm ‘Corgifts.”
Parhad also revealed that Surendra had told him that his daughters and wife are aware of this loan as they are the part of his business. However, Surendra Shetty died unfortunately in October 2016 and Parhad came to Sunanda and her daughters to get back his loan, they denied the loan was ever taken and refused to make payments when he approached them. They called them a liar.
