Shefali Shah is right now on cloud nine in the wake of getting rave reviews for her acting performance in ‘Darlings’. The actress recently talked about her kissing scene in the film.
Shefali told a news website that there are two scenes in the movie that totally surprised her when she read the script. One was her character Shamsu’s unexpected kiss with Zulfi and another was her past.
The actress called it a sweet and delicate moment, adding that she does it since she wants to shut this man up since he will proceed to do some more nonsense now. Yet, the manner in which the character does it took her by surprise, Shefali told the Hindustan Times.
Sharing a few details about how the scene was filmed, Shefali uncovered that because of its spontaneity, the scene required a couple of takes and at least one of them comically wrong. The actress further shared that in one of the shots they did, the actress ran to him to kiss him and the bag she was carrying hit her face and the two of them kissed the bag. The actress added that, in the end, she was happy with how tastefully the scene had been presented in the movie.
‘Darlings’ likewise features Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. It got good reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
