The recent statement made by Director Shekhar Kapur on the theatres has shocked everyone. It has become a matter of concern for all directors and producers of the film.

However, the Maharashtra Government has given orders to start shooting, following some rules and precautions.
Meanwhile, a tweet by filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has surfaced. That worried all the makers and the directors. He recently shared a post predicting what the future holds for the theatres. Shekhar Kapur wrote on his Twitter account, ‘Theaters are yet to open for at least a year. Therefore, Hype doing business of more than 100 crores will be now dead. He added that the theatrical Star System is dead. Stars will have to go to the existing OTT platform or stream films themselves through their own apps.
This news has worried all the filmmakers, but Shekhar focusing on this matter said. People should not be concerned about the platform that the film is using to reach out to the people, instead, people should be more focused on the content.
