Not Shivajirao Singham but his name is Shivaji Shinde. The fire tragedy in which 14 people lost their lives that happened rooftop pub Kamala Mills complex saw the emergence of a hero cop in the form of Sudarshan Shivaji Shinde. His pictures are getting viral because he helped to save a number of lives with his courage.
He is a constable in Mumbai police. He managed to pull out eight people trapped in flames as over 200 were in attendance the moment the fire broke around 12.30 am at ‘1 Above’ rooftop pub during a party which was being held over a restaurant.
Shivaji Shinde told the media,
He had entered the pub’s top floor along with the firefighters who broke open the exit door of the pub. As soon as he entered there, he saw the woman lying there. He picked her up on his shoulders as they didn’t have a stretcher and rushed out to rescue her.
14 people lost their lives and 19 people got injured in this mishap. According to a report by DNA, eyewitnesses said he climbed up seven floors each time to bring down the bodies.
