Shraddha Kapoor recently turned 32 years old on March 3. She was born in 1987 to actors Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure in Mumbai. Shraddha was 18 years old when her father’s name got mired in the controversial casting couch. In 2005, Shakti Kapoor was caught in a sting operation while he was offering a role in a film to a model and asking for sexual pleasures from her in return.
In an interview, Shraddha told how the incident influenced her. she said, “It did upset me and I did cry. I was younger then and did not know how to filter information.” She said it bothered her the way people talked about her father and her family. “He is my father at the end of the day. And the way I know him and my family knows him, nobody else does.”
To let you know, in 2005 a tape of a sting operation was leaked in which Shakti Kapoor was caught asking for sexual pleasures from a model by promising her a role in a film. However, Shakti Kapoor denied that the tape was real and said it was a conspiracy against him. After this sting operation, Shakti Kapoor got banned by Film And TV Producers Guild of India. Shakti Kapoor then apologized to the whole industry.
Shakti Kapoor is a renowned Bollywood actor who has worked in more than 700 films. He mostly portrayed the roles of a villain or a comedian on the screen.
