The most talented and charming actor, Bibhuti bhusan Behera, shares stories on Instagram in support of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan’s failure at the Indian box office.
In response to the boycott trend to his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan apologized to the mass audiences for his controversial work. He was no intention to hurt people and their emotions. He was fired firstly for his objectionable activities in Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial PK, released in worldwide theatres in 2014.
People used the particular hashtag and pointed out some controversial statements of actors that became the main reason why the two biggies performed low worldwide. Basically on twitter, people are trolling Bollywood for creating non-sense, non-factual films nowadays. One user writes, ‘Woh din hi kya the..’ Another user calls for #BoycottBollywood.
Bibhuti calls these films good watchable movies. “There’s nothing objectionable content in both the films for which people should boycott it without no reason. I feel enjoyed watching it. Will watch it again for sure!!”, Bhusan mentions.
There’s massive success of some South films like RRR, KGF 2 in Hindi. The audiences want a well-structured movie to watch with their friends and family.
The two hashtags #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha and #BoycottRakshaBandhan were trending one week of its theatrical releases. Though Laal Singh Chaddha crossed 100 cr across India and worldwide, it failed to create a big buzz in Indian audiences. Akshay Kumar’s film also got positive reviews from critics and audiences across the country. It will eventually gain profits if it keeps its box office momentum.
After four years, the perfectionist of Bollywood, Khan returned to film with the official Hindi adaptation of the Oscar-winning Hollywood movie Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha is performing well worldwide despite poor box office collections.
