Three Sikh men named, Harmit Kapoor, Daljit Kapoor and Davinder Chawla helped 70 Afghan illegal immigrants to pass through UK’s borders. The so-called gang travelled to France and gave genuine or stolen passports to migrants who looked like the people whose passport they were using.

To protect themselves from the border security force, the migrants wore turbans in order to pass as the Sikhs.
The gang has earned almost £600,000 over the course of the controversy. According to the Defend Europa, Prosecutor Alexandra Felix said, “At least one of conspirators with the passport would travel to France to enable to an asylum seeker to travel to the UK using this passport. These were passports with identities belonging to their families or others which were reported lost or stolen in the days before their use.”

Felix further added: “The result of the conspiracy was there was an entry into the UK that must have been in breach of immigration Law. They would enter the UK masquerading as genuine passport holders and disappear into society. This was a cynical money making enterprise where there was financial gain.”
After migrants reach the UK, the gang would then get the passports back and use them again with more asylum seekers looking to enter the UK illegally.
