The first step in finding true love is loving yourself. When you start loving yourself you get to know that what you are capable of and you can create a strong bond with someone and be open with them. Here are six love lessons which come from the Buddha.
1) “Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
To expect that somebody will come and love you the way you deserve is a pure delusion. According to eastern philosophy, when you do that you set yourself up for eventual disappointment. People come and go but only you stay with you all life. So, it is important to find peace within yourself.
2 ) “Love the whole world as a mother loves her only child.”
We human beings are selfish. We just want that our family stays happy. This is the basic thinking and need. People think that only their family are worth their time and love. So, start spreading love all around yourself.
3) “Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care, for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill.”
When we love somebody we are bound to fight with them. But sometimes saying harmful things to our loved ones can damage our relationship. So, whenever you speak, choose your words wisely.
4) “Hatred does not cease by hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.”
When you are in an ugly fight tor situation it is necessary to answer back in anger this can damage your relationship.Acting mature can save your relationship.
5) “Hatred does not cease by hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.”
One of the most common things I see in relationships is one or both of the partners are looking around to see if the grass is greener on the other side. There’s a constant subconscious desire to see if they can get something better.
