The latest news regarding iPhone 8 is that users are experiencing issues with the Skype app both on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. They are unable to connect to Skype, and the application crashes at launch. The problem has arrived due to lack of optimization for the new devices.

.@Skype Please fix the iPhone 8/8+ bug with your app! I can’t sign in without it crashing. Missing important conversations!

On the other hand, Microsoft has issued a statement that they have acknowledged the bug and are testing the fix before the update is pushed out.
“We are aware of issues where users are unable to connect to Skype on the new iPhone8. Our engineers are actively investigating the issue and we hope to resolve it as soon as possible.”
“A fix has been developed and we are currently testing before rolling out to production.”
iPhone 8 Is Not Performing Well In The Market
On Friday, the sale of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus began in several countries but the people did not seem really excited for the new iPhones. The crowd is not coming in the number that was expected. Ming-Chi Kuo, the most famous Apple analyst with KGI Securities said:
“While it takes three to six weeks or more to ship new iPhone models after they are available for preorder, they see the iPhone 8 taking less than one to two weeks. This is due to the iPhone X cannibalisation”
From September 22, iPhones were made available in Germany, France, China, Singapore, US, Australia, Hong Kong and Canada. In India, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be launch on September 29.
