Sri Lankan openers played four new bowlers in the first 4 overs which can be a strategical change by captain Aaron Finch or maybe Starc’s injury put all things in a messed up position.
Starc has got a slight cut due to which he did not bowl another over for his spell and Mitchell Marsh was called in. Marsh too got hit by the openers and at the start of the fourth over Finch suggested that a spinner should attack for which Maxwell was asked to bowl.
At the end of 4 overs, the openers strike 35 runs and remains wicket-less as the innings approached the end of their power-play.
