The famous TV actress, Sneha Wagh, who played a lead role of character Raj Kaur in the Star Plus serial ‘Veera’ is in news. She is fined for using the phone while shooting for her current serial, “Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh”. It is said that an important sequence of the serial was shot on when her phone rang in between and perturbed the makers while filming.
According to the news sources, in order to ensure a smooth and systematic flow during shoots, the makers have come up with a rule that mobile phones must be turned off on the sets.
“If anyone’s phone — be it the producer, director, actor or crew — is found ringing, as a punishment one has to pay Rs 500 penalty. When the amount is sufficient, there’s a treat to all.”
On this whole episode, Sneha Wagh said,
“The penalty which I had to pay was Rs 500, but I decided to treat the entire unit to ice-creams. A lesson has learned from the incident is now my phone is always on silent mode while we are shooting.”
