As per the buzz, that has been making rounds on the internet is that all is not well between filmmaker Karan Johar and celebrity manager Reshma Shetty. And there has been an ugly fallout between them.
It seems like another long friendship in Bollywood has turned sour. As the news of the ugly fallout between Karan Johar and the talent manager surfaced. As per the source, Karan Johar’s production Dharma announced its collaboration with talent management company Cornerstone owned by Sohail Khan’s brother-in-law Bunty Sajdeh. And has left Shetty owned Matrix. That handles some of the most prominent celebs like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Shashank Khaitan and Manish Malhotra. These celebs are said to be quite close to Karan. They both were known to have quite a good relationship and were close buddies but industry sources confirm that they have parted ways now. Well, that’s quite shocking for everyone.
A source also claims, “It’s difficult to say what went wrong. But it seems that the fallout has been ugly. Karan has decided to ensure that his protégés end the contract with Reshma’s company Matrix and shift to another talent management company, Cornerstone.” Well, it’s quite shocking to know that exactly what made this relationship sour. As they were close buddies. Now Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced that it is joining hands with Cornerstone and that the new company will be called Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA).
It sounds quite awkward as Karan Johar early made a statement that “I take her advice on professional decisions very seriously. I’m very dependent on her take on work and people. I’ve built a bond with her over the years, and it’s very solid.” But after they parted ways the matter has not gone down well with the netizens.
