Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has recently got a bad experience with online shopping. Yes, the actress received rusted iron pieces instead of headphones that she ordered. According to the media reports, Sonakshi took on to online shopping website Amazon to order Bose headphones that worth Rs 18,000. But what left her gobsmacked was when the package came in, she instead received rusted iron pieces.
The actress took no time to post it on the social media and wrote, “Hey @amazonIN! Look what i got instead of the @bose headphones i ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit… but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesnt even want to help, thats what makes it even worse.”
The actress went on to tweet that, “Anybody want to buy a brand new shiny piece of junk for 18,000 bucks? (Yup, its a steal) Dont worry, im selling, not @amazonIN, so ull get exactly what you’re ordering.”
Her tweets created a buzz on the social media and people started slamming Amazon. Many criticised Amazon’s poor customer services and trolled the website.
Meanwhile, Amazon has responded to Sinha’s tweet and apologised for the blunder they committed.
