Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has proved to be a genie of Aladin for all the migrant workers who are stuck due to the lockdown. According to the reports, Sonu Sood has transferred over 1000 migrant workers to their respective homes by providing buses, chartered flights, and even trains. The selfless initiatives of the actor disgraced when he called as “a puppet being controlled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).”
Let me tell you that, on Sunday, Sonu attended Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray at the latter’s residency Matoshree. But moments after the meeting, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut aroused controversy by criticizing Sonu Sood in his weekly column in Sena’s mouthpiece ‘Saamana’.
The Shiv Sena’s leader Sanjay Raut wrote, “Sood is an actor whose profession is to deliver dialogues scripted by someone else and make a living out of it.” He added, “To show the state government’s work in poor light, Sonu Sood has been deliberately promoted. ‘If anyone wants to go home, please contact me’ was the appeal of the actor. You do not need a screen all the time to show your acting skills as has been demonstrated by ‘Mahatma Sood’.” Sanjay even called Sood a “good actor”.
As soon as the news surfaced on social media, netizens trolled Sena’s leader fiercly for disgracing their favorite actor. Have a look:
Apart from this Sonu Sood took to his Twitter handle for thanking government for their help.
Praising Sonu, Aditya Thakrey also tweeted and wrote, , “This evening @SonuSood met up with @CMOMaharashtra Uddhav Thackeray ji along with Minister @AslamShaikh_MLA ji and me. Better Together, Stronger Together to assist as many people through as many people. Good to have met a good soul to work for the people together.”
