After its first weekend after its Thursday release, the movie’s net box office receipts have surpassed 18 crore. It had the second-highest opening weekend in the US this year.
The superhero movie now has a net income of 18.84 crore in India, breaking into the double-digit club. The amount is twice what its forerunner Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse made in India during its first weekend. The animated movie now holds the fifth-highest opening weekend total in India for a Hollywood picture so far in 2023, according to reports.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is performing well at the US box office in addition to in India. Apparently, the movie sold 120.5 million US dollars’ worth of tickets. It is the second-biggest opening in the US this year, according to Box Office Mojo, behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which earned USD 146.4 million in its first weekend.
On Thursday, Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse was made available in India. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali are among the ten languages that it is available in. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is already planned as a sequel. It will debut the following year.
