In an interview, Snyder talked about what we could expect from the once planned sequels (which probably will not come). It turns out that, as it seemed recently, he had plans for the New Gods and Superman’s son.
New Gods plans
“All the New Gods would be on show at some point. When it comes to the invasion of Earth, I really wanted to go all out. The third film was essentially about an invasion of the New Gods.
