Laxman Narasimhan, the CEO of Starbucks, identified his favorite Starbucks coffee, which has an Indian link. Are you curious about his go-to drink of choice? It’s a Doppio Espresso Macchiato with a side order of hot milk. The price of the drink is $3.35, or around ₹270.
In a Fortune interview, Narasimhan said the beverage brought back memories of the coffee he had in India. “Skim milk, preferably. It’s a way for me to replicate the taste of South Indian coffee here in the US,” averred Narasimhan
He further revealed that the coffee chain’s whiskey barrel-aged Guatemalan coffee ‘amazingly surprised’ him. “It has no alcohol in it. It has a cube of ice. And it’s a wonderful drink that’s available in our roasteries, and I’ve enjoyed that deeply.”
The video was previously posted. Since then, it has had over 1.8 million views. Many even shared their opinions in the post’s comments section. He received numerous requests to include the filter coffee on the Starbucks menu.
