Comedone extraction
Comedone extraction is a technique which is used for extracting out acne. The expert averred that “a few superficial blackheads may be removed after receiving steam to soften keratin,” also one must ensure to “avoid extraction of large or deep comedones (pores) as this cannot just be pressed out and might require a prick for easy and effective extrusion.”
Avoid injectables
“Parlour is not a place to get anything done with needles involved,” the expert said. Advising that one should not take treatments like microneedling, mesotherapy, or botulinum toxin, “they require proper aseptic precautions, autoclaved or disposable instruments and medical supervision to perform them correctly.”
