According to Rupsa’s mother Shivani, what Rupsa will do with her winning amount she already decided much before the competition.

Rupsa’s mother Shivani Batabyal said, ‘Our financial condition is not good at all. The house in Kolkata we live in is made of clay. Our house shatters during every rain. Clearly, due to the lack of money, we were unable to buy the house, but now with Rupa’s winning money, we will by a Pucca house and it was decided by Rupsa. When she entered the show, she had said, ‘Mother, if I win this show then I will make my Prince’s House’. Now we will fulfil her dream.’

Rupsa’s father works in a paper factory. His per day income is Rs 300. Many times he stays at home without work. It is very difficult to survive the month with such a small amount of money. Despite this, Rupsa’s parents supported her passion for dance. At the age of 3, Rupsa started performing on-stage.
