Siddarth Pithani who is a close friend of Sushant was investigated from 12:00 pm till 2 am on Tuesday after he reached ED Office. As soon as Pithani reached he was grilled by ED, where he was asked several questions related to money laundering in connection to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is being told that he was questioned for nearly about 14 hours for this. It is the second time Siddharth has been summoned and was questioned about the financial matter. As per the reports he was also asked to submit income tax returns for the past 5 years, along with the bank statements from Jan 2020.
Let us tell you that Siddharth Pithani was a close friend and flatmate of Sushant. Who also worked as a Creative Content Manager for the actor. He was among the four people who were present at his flat when the incident happened on 14th June. And probably a major suspect in this case. It is being told that he is the one who is also known to change his statement every now and then. Pithani is a good friend of Rhea which is not hidden by anyone. However, he denied having a connection with Rhea Chakraborty in spite of staying with her in the same flat.
The ED so far has questioned eight people in this matter. And the first one to be questioned was Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh was called to record her statement on Tuesday and left the office at around 10 pm. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has shared a statement of 9 pages which is quite emotional and heart-wrenching. The family has penned about their journey from the beginning until now. And also opened about the threats they have been receiving after his death. In the latest statement, they also revealed that Sushant was murdered.
