The incident of Hathras gangrape shook everyone. The whole country is angry with this incident and is demanding immediate punishment to the accused, from common people to celebs. Amidst all this, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has sent a notice to Swara Bhaskar for revealing the identity of the victim.

Apart from Swara, notice has also been sent to Congress leader Digvijay Singh and BJP IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya. Along with this, they all have also been asked to delete this post from their social media account immediately.

NCW gave the information through its official Twitter handle and posted, ‘The Women’s Commission has sent a notice to Amit Malviya, Digvijay Singh and Swara Bhaskar seeking clarification on the post which revealed the identity of Hathrath victim. At the same time, they have been asked to immediately delete this post and to avoid such posts in future.’
In Swara Bhaskar’s post, some people were protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi with placards, the victim’s face was clearly visible on these placards. Let us tell you that on September 14, a Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped and beaten in a village in Chandpa police station area of Hathras district. The girl was then brutally murdered.
