Sweating Out in Gym But Still Not Losing Weight? Here’s Why!

When a person starts its journey of losing weight, he is told that a balanced food and regular exercise is the key to it. If you are doing both of them but still not losing that stubborn weight, then you need to figure out some mistakes that you are doing. Weight loss happens when you find an activity you enjoy and start to see food as fuel instead of something to feed your emotions.

Here are some things you have to take into account:

You are eating wrong food

Your diet works 80% for you if you are on a weight loss expedition. Some people purely focus on burning calories and while doing so they don’t consider what are they eating. A good rule of thumb is to stick to all natural, whole foods.

Consume natural that contain carbohydrates such as potatoes, brown rice, grains etc. Avoid excess bread and sugar.

Eating too much!

No matter whether you are eating healthy natural and boiled food but if you are eating it too much, it can become a problem. In order to shed pounds, your body needs to run a calorie deficit, meaning you need to burn more than you consume. Eat balanced and stay healthy.

Not Working hard

Your work out sessions should be intensity-dependent, not time dependent. The harder you work, the shorter your workout time may need to be. Give more time in exercises that make you sweat more, do them regularly and you will find a change.

Stress

Don’t stress about anything even not about that you are not losing weight. Everything takes time. Under stress, our body produces an excessive amount of cortisol, a stress hormone. Cortisol is both normal and important when working out, it’s involved in processes that give your muscles the energy needed to get moving. Also, after rigorous fitness session, give your body a break. Take two days off from the gym in a week.
